I have a sneaking suspicion that the fast growing popularity of this forum has to do with its demographics.
The short answers: Of course, the last two bullets may be simply the result of the first: Younger people have lower income, do not have children, and live in smaller households. This statistic shows the number of internet users who used the internet for dating sites and personal ads in Germany from 2013 to 2016, by usage frequency.According to Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)/World Bank, the population in Canada increased from 1990 to 2008 with 5.6 million and 20.4% growth in population, compared to 21.7% growth in the United States and 31.2% growth in Mexico.According to the OECD/World Bank population statistics, for the same period the world population growth was 27%, a total of 1,423 million people.I wonder if there is way to track who is posting regularly (via the "last 5 forum post link".
My bet is that the active forum post population subset of all POF members is enriched in two age cohorts - and that web crawlers are bringing in members who belong to these groups, by association. Admin is almost always equipped with user statistics, perhaps he'll have the time to post a breakdown. I don't know the growth rate or the demographic, but I do know that only a very small percentage of overall POF members even uses the forums. Even then it was leaning toward parity, and this site is growing with incredible speed. If you know where to check traffic stats, it confirms that POF is growing.
It will transform many sectors of society and the economy.

This site appears to be enriched in members my age bracket, at least within the forum postings, consistent with general population ..spellcheck. I actually haven't looked for any forums devoted to dating - this place came up in a google search for one of the new acronyms I saw somewhere.
Fortunately, I found some data from Com Score, dating back to June 2008.
